Ivan, a good point. I vaguely remember reading about a possible 5V
requirement in the archives. Interestingly, the MOTM-120, MOTM-300 and
MOTM-700 each have a 5V requirement that is currently met by using its own
5V regulator.
In any case, the Power One triple output supply that provides +-15V @ 3A
also provides +5V at 12A, which is MUCH more amperage at 5V than I think we
will ever need. (Even the supply that provides +-15V @ 1.5A provides +5V @
6A!) One could always add a separate Power One 5V supply later once the
precise requirements are known. Besides, by the time modules are available
that require a 5V supply, I suspect Paul will have an official 900 series
power module that will provide it.
Cheers,
George

I think I had asked Paul about this a while ago, and he indicated that the
inevitable sequencer would required +5Vdc for all of the TTL circuitry.
