and if you set the decay to something other than zero, the voltage will
"slide" up to what you have the sustain set to. i use this a lot. e.g. (no
put intended), for automatic filtersweeps, i'll time it so that the filter
sweeps over X number of beats, set the FM level, and then when i'm doing
stuff all i have to do to sweep the filter is flip the sustain all the way
on or off. this trick is my third hand. :)
