is the sensation you may feel if you bother to listen to this:

Sustained Mechanism (f-cked mix) at http://www.mp3.com/baldbastard

We've been talking a bit about distortion lately (on AH), so I posted this
alternate version of a track I did late last year. Effects used are: Yamaha
E1005 delay, EH Deluxe Electric Mistress (reissue), Furman RV-2 dual spring
reverb, and overdriven Mackie 1604vlz inputs. Synths used: Roland TR-909,
MOTM modular. Lots of pretty, squealing feedback.

The Yamaha delay has a nice, built-in feedback control, but feeding its
output back into input B creates a great howl (I used it a lot on the track
"Bigshot" also on that site). The Furman has a more polite feedback, classic
sine. I think the bizarre, all-over-the-place squealing on this mix I just
posted is some sort of interaction between the Electric Mistress and the
reverb. I really have no memory of the recording of this. That's probably
quite believable once you hear it.

David.
