you sure can using a MOTM#101 Sample & Hold and a MOTM#700 Voltage
Controlled Router
the #101 sets a random voltage (at regular intervals contolled by its
internal LFO) pipe this random voltage into the CV input of the #700, set
the threshold to somewhere near the middle, and put the Router in "audio"
mode
put some audio into say input/output A, have i/o X as your output (to mixing
desk or whatever), and you have the audio being randomly gated depending on
the voltage produced by the sample & hold. for extra randomness, you could
also pathc the sample & hold output of the #101 back into the trigger input
to override the internal LFO

which reminds me - i really hope Paul has shipped my #101 so i can plug it
into the OMS-410 prototype i'm putting together this weekend...

cheers

MOTM heheheheheh...)
