Well, in 99% of filters, VC Q adds a DC offset from the output back to
the input. This in turn "muddies" up the sound.
However, in this particular filter topology, we use a "trick" because I have
both NPN and PNP matched pairs available. So hopefully, there will not
be this effect.
The prototype filter will be built in mid-Sept. I'll post some MP3 as soon
as it is all checked out.
And per Rocket, yes you can overdrive the snot out of it.
