Hi all,
I have a total of 600 +15v milliamps of power necessary to run my new
cabinet and Roland M-181 keyboard. Is this too much for the 900? Please give
your advice. I do not have all of the modules yet so no damage has been
done, I simply want to plan for any power supply upgrades I will have to do
now instead of 4 modules down the road. Thanks guys!
Also got my Encore UEG yesterday. PHAT addition to my basic synth!!! The
semi-sequencer type effects you can get from it are very cool! Too bad the
trigger out couldn't have a switch to select trigger on the last step or
trigger for each step. That would truly be ∗somethin else∗ right? Very cool
module anyway and the LFO style self-oscillation effects it gets are very
fun too! Great job Tony, fits the rack nicely. I almost had a problem
getting it into my wood case because of slim pcb clearance space. Of course
my wood case is slim in this area so I might be alone on this one.
I love this UEG things output right into my 820 lag processor before
patching it into my filters or vca's. The 820 is so damn cool with the up
and down controls as separate knobs! I spent over 2 hours fiddling with it
around after power up late last night. If you don't have an 820 and you have
one of these UEG's you are seriously missing out! If you don't have an 820
anyway you must be sleeping because it has ended up one of my more useful
modules. Get one and see for yourself.
And finally, I must make the following statement out of pure frustration and
lack of anywhere else to turn for people who might understand my plight...
DAMMIT I would sure like to find the money or resources to get another
module! I am going nuts with the fever now that the UEG and recent 110 ring
mod VCA purchase has stoked my fire. If anyone would like to buy any mens
clothes or shoes (Slightly tattered) I am up for offers or donations HA! 320
LFO or a 420 VCF, how am I going to pull this together with the wife? Uh I
need money for... for... Aw I give up. Maybe the tax man will be kind and
cut me a break this year! That'll be the day right
