From a MOTM manual (hardware section) "#8-32 X 3/8"
The hole pattern is the same as a standard rack rail (but you already knew
that).
So if one were to use brass inserts (#8-32) into a piece of pine as mounting
rails, one could use a standard rack rail as a drilling guide I believe.
