I've used them with heavy equipment as well, but the screw I have fromMid
Atlantic are definitely not steel. Maybe they sell two kinds of screws.
Can you pick them up with a magnet?? If you ever get a chance, put one of
the ones you have to a grinding wheel and tell me what the sparks look like.
