Subject: M-181 Panel

Hi Shemp!

Here is a picture of my DIY panel up as close as I could get. The features
are as follows:

Din cable that brings original Roland CV/Gate and Trigger signals to the
panel. On the panel there is a 1/4" jack for each of these signals. With the
extra space I put in a switch and 4-jack multi above both the CV and Gate
outs. The switch allows for the multis to link to the cv and gate out so you
end up with 5 outs from each signal or 2 x 4way multis.

A simple but very effective module in my 3 VCO, 4 EG setup. I used to have
to patch out of my cabinet to a different multiple I have and back again,
but this panel made it all go away. I would love to replace my laser-printer
stick on panel label with a true silk-screened panel. Maybe we can stir up
enough interest to get this one thrown into the 3rd panel run? There have to
be other M-181 owners who might like this project. It is really simple and I
actually did all of the MOTM required gate voltage mods on the panel and
left my M-181 stock. Works great and it would be even easier for those who
did the mods inside the M-181.

Hope you dig it,

Thomas White

PS. I have thought about adding a "Gate On" led in the blank space on the
front panel, but I want to wait to see my total current in this cabinet
before I go crazy with this LED and Dave B's mods for the 800 EG's.
