I don't know if anybody is remotely interested in my case building
saga, but there are some new pics up at:
http://motm.retrosynth.com/moe_stuff/case_pics/I cut some side profiles out of scrap wood just to live with them for
a few days. The "Finger of MOTM" is the wildest looking, but also the
hardest to build. The other one in the same pic was described by a
Stooge critic as looking too "top heavy", so I took a saw to it and
tapered the panel slope subtly backward. The result can be seen in
the second profile pic, and I'm pretty pleased with the result.
Next: temporarily attach some rails and try out the ergonomics!
