Subject: It is TIME to order panels.

The time has come to place your panel orders. First, a word about MOTM and
Stooge Panels, Inc <snicker>

Stooge Panels, Inc. was started as a way to:
1 - make custom panel for DIY stuff so cool modules like the
831 and 822 will look as great as they work.
2 - make panels for custom conversion of some other really
cool modules some of us want in our system to SUPPLEMENT
our beloved MOTM and not replace it. Example: Dark Star

Therefore, some of the panels that people have asked for are not going to
be produced. Our venture has extended past the boundaries of its original
intention. I won't go into all the details here, but I will just tell you
that the
VCAs, EGs, and Superladders that were requested are not planned by
Dave and I right now. You are can buy whatever you want. We just have
no plans to make a panel for it right now. We only got 3 or 4 requests
each
for the VCA and EG. So, we went with the more often requested panels.
Also, Paul wrote to the list saying that the Supperladder will be an
official
MOTM product. We have looked at each request individually to
determine if it falls in the scope of Dave's original vision. I am sorry
if that disappoints some of you. Some of you will get some private
mail from Dave concerning this. There will be a panel run # 3 down
the road. We plan to add 2 to 3 panels to those available each
time if possible.

Remember, this is supposed to be fun. :)

OK enough of that. Two new offerings are now available for your purchase
and consumption. The Blacet Klangwerk and Oakley Wavefolder get the nod as
the latest additions for MOTM style panels available. Of course, if you
missed out on any cool stuff from last time like the Dark Star and Time
Machine, here is your chance. That stuff is available again. Those of you
in need of 831 and 822s should have received a private e-mail from me. If
you want / need one of those and have not heard from me, privately PLEASE
send me an order. If you have ordered a complete or partial KIT, you do not
need to worry about panels. They are included.

Send ALL orders to ME. Please do not send orders to Dave. Moe is the
brains of the outfit. I am the collection agent. PLEASE, PLEASE do not
send orders to the list. I am only making this announcement to the list as
that is the best way to communicate to everyone that now is the time to
order (people have been asking and I don't want anyone to miss out).
After this, I expect all mail on the subject to be private. There is no
need
to fill up the mail boxes of those who don't care about Stooges or Stooge
panels.

A word about deadlines. I am not changing the order 20 times like I did
last time. You get 12 days from today to place your order.

A word about drilling. Hopefully, everyone understands, this is a DIY
project that just LOOKs real good. The panels do not come with holes in
them (except for the 4 corner holes). You have to drill them yourself.
Drilling instructions are available on Dave's web site at
http://www.users.qwest.net/~daveb2/

I recognize that some of you have no way to drill your own. So, Dave and I
will offer drilling as a service. To those of you that we drilled panels
for free last time -- YOU got lucky. Dave and I have decided to continue
doing that for those that need it. However, it is VERY time consuming and
we still want to have a life. So, we are going to charge for drilling if
you must ask us to do it. We will be charging the reasonable price of $6
for 1U and $10 for 2U.

A word about DIY. We want to make your DIY panels. The cost is
certainly higher for DIY than for panels we can print 20 of. But, still
very
reasonable if that "great" DIY invention of yours needs a beautiful MOTM
style panel. Prices can be as cheap as $10 on top of the normal panel price
if can order two. Contact Dave or I privately if you have this kind of
interest for next time. The list of available panels for this round is set.

A word about price. Just about like last time - $16 for 1U and $23
for 2U. Shipping goes up $1 per shipment to $5 per order. (Hey, the
post office increased rates).

OK. Tell me what you want PRIVATELY please.
