Hi All,
can I just say that I wouldn't of known about MOTM if it wasn't
for Tony Allgood.
I am very upset by this situation,
and while I realise that this is a list set up by Paul for his products
and I can see that there may be some issues that need to be resolved,
it surely cannot be detrimental for companion products being brought
to our attention here. I always thought great! look at everybody here
working together, and getting such a buzz out of it, this must be
beneficial to MOTM.
Tony has mentioned on the list when he has new products available,
was it meant to be 'advertising'?
His web site seems to be quite a large advert for MOTM.
There doesn't seem very much difference in hearing about Oakley
products than hearing about Synth Systems, Encore Electronics,
Blacet Research products on the list. Everyone who joins is already
a MOTM user/fan.
If I had the money now, I would buy all products from all the companies
now, tonight. I love them all as I am sure many list members do too.
I cannot see how turning a colleague in to competition is of any benefit.
Lastly on the subject of emails, they are easy, too easy.
Easy to come home from a bad day at the office, let fly, press the button
and bang, there it is, damage done, no cooling off period.
Emails can so easily be mis-interpreted, really there content should be
checked more carefully than in written correspondence.
I have been guilty of it myself, I have ended up upsetting people with
an offhand remark which was no way meant to hurt anybody.
We now have a dark cloud over the list and Tony has felt that he has
had to go and 'do the decent thing'.
I am sure this will pass quickly, I really respect this list, and respect
everyone on it, It really thrills me that there are so many nice helpful
people out there. (I will stop now before I call for a group hug)
