Subject: changing battery in sds7

Hi everybody!
So glad I found this group.
I recently got my sds7 out of storage and it seems the old girl works great... except all the old sounds are gone and she can't hold any new ones with a dead battery.
I have removed the battery card but am unsure what to do next.
My battery looks a lot like this guy's, right down to the green color and white cover:

Is he right about the modern replacement battery?
"Stock battery in my SDS 7 was a rechargeable 3.6V 110mAh NiCad. Modern replacement battery is a 3 cell 3.6V Ni-MH rechargeable backup battery, typical around 150mAh. mAh (milliampere hour) are not critical, but no need to overdo it. Anything between 100-200mAh should be fine."

Also, how do I remove my battery? Does it simply slide out of the harness/bracket?

If so, will my replacement battery need to be the same height in order to maintain contact?

I am NOT a tech or an engineer, but if this isn't too difficult I feel I can do it.

Thanks!
