I'm putting some thought on virtual paper for this project. One idea is to decode the CV line of any free voice card slots to control sample selection. Although somewhat clumsy to navigate and remember, a single slot could give up to 15 different control parameters that can be stored with the drum-kit.
BTW by suggestion we could stuff 64 sounds inside a 512kB e-prom where of course rather optimistic. Please divide by 8.
