I hope tocome back to this project soon. What concerns me most are if I should interferewith the vintage design.
With a newCPU running things a complete new face plate could take the user experience toa whole new level.
But costand the simple fact I ruin the value of the unit I’m pondering with the idea toleave the panel as is and rather make an external midi and CV control unit.
Forprototyping without the need for soldering inside the SDS7 I’ve started lookingfor some old 386/486 computers in hope I can cut of the pcb edge mail connectoron one of the inserted cards.
