I agree with that logic Jesper J Sadly on my 9 voice I have to reseat at least one voice, usually two or three after lifting the unit from the table.
I’m missing most of the key inserts, but I’ve narrowed it down to not be the main problem. Although if I float the bus-board I need to figure out a way to make me some new keys without spilling glue all over the contacts.
While thinking of mods. Can I ask if someone have addressed heat issue that come with more modules? I’m thinking of possible mechanically couple the heat sink on the power supply to chassis to lead heat out of the box? Just to add some 10-20 years life to the silicon inside.

Hi,
my 12-voice SDS-7 have never displayed any contact issues so I'm
thinking: why fixing something that ain't broken? But on the other hand,
comparing to modular synthesizers I can get the benefits.
Keep us posted if you decide to go through with the plan.
