http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edRvdXuMdfw&sns=emMy love for Simmons drums was really cemented with Lee's work on the first two Talk Talk albums (I already loved Landscape's From the Tea Rooms of Mars, and Depeche Mode's A Broken Frame!) Lee and Paul Webb just worked so great together.
This video, and there's another from Montreux in '86, capture their mastery & genius right before they abandoned electronics and embarked on a Miles Davis-infused Post Rock direction.
