Hi Matt,
my hihat card started to behave like that. I asked here and checked the
schematics too. Everything points towards a faulty switch circuit (i e
the electronics behind the button pressing).
I haven't got around to fixing it 'cause I had no replacement for the
suspicious IC and then other things got in the way.
So, "easy fix", probably not that hard for someone who knows electronics
and the hot side of the soldering iron, but not "easy" if you mean a
cheap "workaround".
