I'd say the SDS-6 is _theee_ sequencer for the SDS-V. But it's large,
rare and not always easy to combine with more modern equipment. The MTM
is not a sequencer, it's a converter.

Basically yes, or use the sequencer input and hotter signals.

Prior to getting an MTM I sometimes used auxes from a Kenton converter
if I wanted velocity sensitivity. But since buying the MTM (which I
never regretted) I use that (in combination with Cubase) for everything
you describe you want to do.
