Salut Thierry,

 nice job !
a bit difficult to tell & switch from a sample to another with not the exact same settings to really tell.

OTA is really nice   quite beefy !  & a nice low end...   do you have 2 noise section on your module ?
Moog seems more bright to me. but has nice warmth in the mids.
Steiner is quite seductive with nice well defined  high frequencies. more tiny than both precedent samples...

I would say OTA...or Moog...

anyway ... sounds great !! Miam ..

take care
Patrice

Objet: [Simmons Drums] My analog drumsynth prototype:new demos in MP3

Hello,

I have just uploaded 3 new MP3 files of my DIY analog drumsynth played with my converted meshead snare.

I have used 3 differents VCF for filtering the noise:

                      - Steiner type

                      - Moog type

                      - Ota based type

Last week,I was the sound man for a Mariachis band and I had time, before the concert,to try it on the big PA

with the band drummer....I think it was sounding realy very very big...

I would like to have your comments and what VCF you prefer??

I know,I am really an awful drummer.....much more competent in electronic than on drumming!

I would like to build a complete 5 channels analog drum module.

See you soon
