Hi All ,
I recently became the owner of a SDS 1000 brain. Some nice sounds in the unit although a little limited. Three issues currently frustrate me
1. Its a 110v unit and I live in a 240v country
2. The decay time on the toms seems a little too low for my taste even at maximum. Especially when compared to my SDS - V clone and I would like to try and extend them.
3. The input sensitivity seems a little low across all inputs.
I am wondering if anyone knows the output voltages of the Toroidal transformer to save me probing the outputs to try and find a match. Also has anyone ever tied to make the mod I suggested ? I could make guesses and use trial and error as it should be possible... but it someone has been here before it could possibly help.
Last of all if anyone can point me to a source for the schematic that would be great.
