This is the schematics of the Mark 2 (analogue Simmons ClapTrap), the humaniser is already built in. It was a great idea to use the AC frequency from the PSU to modulate the VCO. A free LFO! This is the Simmons spirit!
Also bad, that the LM566 (VCO) is so expensive these days. Back in the days, you could buy it for a few cents. Now they want 15 Euro or more.

Hi!

I've uploaded the schematic to the existing "Analog Claptrap" directory
in the files section of the Yahoo group. I'll quote below the
description that I added to the file:

"Simmons Analog Clap Trap schematic. There is no attribution or
copyright on the schematic. I assume this was distributed by Simmons as
an aid to service engineers, and is therefore freely distributable."

It's a 300 dpi scan, so should be suitable for printing on A4 sized paper.

Cheers,

Chris
