FYI: Vince De Franco is the inventor of the Mandala, Danny Carey is the player and contracted Vince with idea on what he wanted. It was originally a custom job for Danny that he hired Vince to do to replace his aging SDX system that was breaking down on tour

No too many people can afford £2000 and up prices anymore, just a few only, then next month the question will be "why to pay £2500 for a 303 when I can get it for £100 with midi and very relieable components and warranty" I know is not the same but £100 is a price we all can afford...

With Benj returning under the 2Box name after Clavia sold off the DDrum name, Clavia re-entering the market with the Nord Drum, Korg re-releasing the Wavedrum with much needed updates and reasonable pricing, and Vinny and his SDX replacement the Mandala drum, there is a market for Dave's products and concepts. It is sad how his companies name has been used by GC to ruin a great name in the field, I would love to see Simmons make a comeback
