Subject: Re: [Simmons Drums] Re: Simmons SDS 1000 & MTM

Hi

I have an SDS1000 and a SDS1000m

They both have a full set of 5 pin DIN sockets and working MIDI

I have seen a SDS1000 without the sockets so NO MIDI

I have also seen a SDS1000m with a full set of 5 pin DIN sockets but with NO MIDI functions

I am still trying to figure it out

If it has a 5 pin DIN socket plug a MIDI lead into it and see what you get

The results will be: -

It works fine

It does not work in which case: -

It is NOT MIDI capable

OR

It is MIDI capable but is not working properly

Hopefully that covers all eventualities

Brian
