Hello,
yes Jesper the fact is I owned 3 Dynacord piece of gear. 2x Add Two (both broken down) & the Add one the famous & rare Beast with the so beefy Filters & analog section :)
This one is still working, & once a year I'm thinking about selling it but never do it when I give it a go.
Actually I would be annoyed to have to pack it, quite heavy stuff & there are the brain & the Add drive.
I concluded that these stuff would be probably perfect (& that I would more use it) with an hxc drive emulator.
Anyway yes, Percuter, Add one, Add two are the Dynacord brain family.
very well & strongly built !!
I never heard the Percuter but this is the most limited one as it's only a cardtridge reader...
Add one is Eprom Based (with gritty 12bits) & have a very complete Sampling section if set with the add drive, Add Two is "only" a Sampler (16bits).
Both Samplers are giving a very powerful & thick sound. & of course they are midi !
They all would suit well with the pads ! Both Samplers can welcome 8 pads.
The "Add One" can also be controlled by a Rythm Stick.
Dynacord is really serious stuff ! it was back in the days a serious Simmons (sds7 & sdx) competitor, & it's not by luck if it gradually replaced all the SDS7 in pro touring drummers Rack Gear.
Feel free to contact me if you need more precisions.
Best
P.

Percuter is the most common model if you want a Dynacord. There are
other, far cooler, ones too. I cannot remember the name of the one I'm
thinking about but I know Patrice knows which I mean.
Goodle away - most pads can trigger most brains, sometimes with minor
modifications.
