Subject: Re: [Simmons Drums] Simmons SDS-8 wiring help

From: akira honda <oxygeno1313@...>

Hi jesper,

I mean the inside wires, the only one connected is the ground (green/yellow), the are other 3 cables (blue, yellow and red). These cables are not soldered. The unit is 115 volts.

thanks

How do you mean? That the wall plug isn't there? Normally there are three
wires inside a standard cord; brown, blue and yellow/green. Green/yellow is
ground and the other two where the juice is flowing! ;) (well, the easy way
to explain it anyway)

Where do you live (country)? And how does your wall plugs normally look? Are
the unit wired for 220 or 110 volts? If you've bought it on the net it's not
100% certain that it will work in your country without a step up or step
down converter.

electronically yours, jesper - with one busy step down converter and 233
volts in the wall :)
