I use the YAMAHA DX5 individual outputs to trigger my SDSV and SDS7. The best way to do that is using the XLR pad inputs , so you´ll need  jack- XLR cables. Anyway you should to put shorter as possible the decay of each Roland channel. Otherwise, you will get a distorted sound.

It won't trigger at full effect over the 6,3 jacks, but will probably do
the trick over xlr. Watch the levels though.
