Subject: Re: [Simmons Drums] next battery exchange patient?

Hi Michael & list,

I'd be willing to go for the randomized patch way if it indeed would be
randomized. :D Now it seems to get stuck in a very lame "all snare mode"
which is very undesirable.
Cards are already removed and so is the battery which fell apart upon
desoldering. I took out the other card by it too and cleaned the back.
It seems that Tony Holmes had stored it on it's rear for a period and
there the leakage had ended up. Nothing major though. Now it looks shiny
again and I'll get a new battery one of these days. Will go for the
lithium AA-type again and mount the battery holder at the bottom (with
added diode since backtracking the recharging circuit was a bit messy here).
Both plastic locaters are still safely in place and I left the stripped
SDS-7 in the rack. Now, I bid you all a good night. :)

p.s. I keep the wacky eproms for the SDS-1's. d.s.
