Subject: SDX "The Destroyer" - problem

From: "fabiobarker" <fabiobarker@...>

Ok,
I bought 2 external scsi zip drives, the SDX destroyed both, after the drives had been connected to the SDX it stopped working, the zip drives now lights up but not any other function is working, not eject not read, Fantastic! the SDX is capable to destroy external units! now I feel good!
When I plugged the scsi zip drive automatically the internal hd stop being recognized by the SDX, not on the list not anywhere in the SDX system, simply the SDX doean't recognize hd or external zip anymore, just the floppy drive (Don't tell me to read the fu∗∗∗∗g manual or the tutorial to format the hd because this have nothing to do with that).
I tried everything, change number (5 or 6), change termination (on/off) and the SDX still don't recognize nothing and now on top of that for some reason made the zip drive stop working, great!
The SDX is a nightmare in every way (including the people I knew thanks to "her").
Then just one option, I can use the SDX with a internal hd, I tried a internal scsi zip drive and didn't recognize it either, then I'm stuck with a f'ing internal hd, this have to do with "how the hd was made/programmed?" "have to do with something else?" I really don't know.
I know is a little complicated in the Simmons world to get help "for free" but if somebody knows why this happened I apreciate the help before give up and sell it to another person who's very interested in this useless piece of sh∗t.
cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!
