What happens when you start your SDX up with a zip disk inside the drive?
The SDX will detect the last disk in the chain. After the boot up continue screen, does your HDD show up in a list on the left of the screen?
In the main screen/from the main screen click DISK, INFO,DEVICE Does your HDD show up in the list?

Then the SDX see the zip drive external unit as a disc? how can I format a zip drive unit? Why my hdd dissapear when I connect the zip drive.
My problem are not the zip discs because I didn't reach that stage, first I'm trying to make the sdx recognize the external unit itself.
Maybe I'm confuse about how the sdx see my external zip drive unit.
regards
