The Imp boxes are direct boxes for sending to the main P.A. System during live performance or for recording....connect them to the main outs of the SDSV if it has stereo mix outs....can't remember if it does.

Subject: [Simmons Drums] SDSV questions

Hi all,

Some time ago I was fortunate enough to acquire an SDSV kit and am
finally getting a chance to piece it together.

Does anyone have any suggestions regarding making the kick drum a little
more secure and stable? The legs do tighten but not as snug as I would
have hoped for.

Also, included in this rig were the following items ... 2 small remote
control boxes with IMP from Whirlwind Music and a small control that
looks like a bell and has the word SYNTH on it with a standard stereo
cable ... I have no idea what these are used for. I have a hi-hat
module and received the pedal if that helps.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best,
Mark
