Hi

when I bought my SDS-8 set here in New Zealand in the mid 80's, it came with Pearl hardware, the double-braced leg variety the same as in the picture.  These were adequate and sturdy.

regards,

Gwyn

Subject: [Simmons Drums] Best stands

Hi everyone

I've just acquired a battered sds9 brain and pads (black) all in a bit of a state and needing a bit of TLC!
I've taken the shells off and am having them professionally sprayed yellow :) the brain is with a technician friend getting fixed, I just need to buy some stands (I got a frame with it but its in bad condition and i never liked the frames, much prefer the stands)

what are the best stands? what are the ones used in this picture are they just regular pearl double tom stands?

I saw these on ebay , just not sure the tom arm reach is as long

Thanks for your help

Nathan
