thank you both for your prompt reply!

I'm asking because I am planing to build my own (private use only - don't want to sell it) SDSV clone - well i guess I'll start with just one tom-modul for the beginning - that should be hard enough (already asked Michael millions of stupid questions - thanks for your patience!).

Besides work and family life there is not much time left, so I'am still in the process of gathering parts, knowledge and mostly information one the SDS.

In the meantime I had the chance to buy eight SDS9 pads (red cover, incl. original rack and bag) via ebay (150.- Euros and in my town, had to buy it!). I combined those with an Alesis Trigger IO for use with my computer (a great way for getting rid of any frustration in the meantime). The Trigger IO works prefect with the pads. That's why I was asking.

So please be patience with me. Going on with this speed it could on take me a couple of years to finish this project ;-) Thank you!
