This will be a sensational piece, but will take a little more time for serial production. Ch 5 will be a special noise channel to be coupled with ch 4 for more complex (snare) sounds. The pad input is super sensitive for use with mesh head pads. Also the Hihat controller is outstandig with controls for chick/splash volume and more.
And it will be reliable and- available.
The next machine I am designing at the moment is the SuperClap. It provides analogue ensemble, digital ensemble and noise. The analog ensemble can be switched to a high frequency range to produce finger snips as well. The digital ensemble can handle different samples (also the 909 ensemble). The noise filter has resonance and the possibility of highpass and bandpass. It can produce anything between castagnets, claps and snips.
Don't expect it tomorrow, this development will take one year. ;-)
