I have a chance to pick up an old Octapad-8 at a cheap price. I was thinking
of using it with my SDE Expander as I'm having a hard time figuring out how
to get it to communicate with my TMI interface with mutiple pads.

Would an Octapad-8 work with this unit and be somewhat intuitive and user
friendly for someone unfamiliar with MIDI channels and operation?
Essentially I'm looking to have each pad on the Octapad trigger a voice on
the SDE.
