I tend to start with a kick just for a beat, when composing a new track.
When I did this scetch the SDS-7 was kind of new to me and with the MTM
up and running it was pure joy to build further with other istruments.
20 channels later it really sucks, drowned among distorted minimoog,
blipping odyssey and rumbling OSCar and so on. ;)

Yes, there is where the modulation part kicks (pun intended) in.

No time for tech stuff. The chorus works well with a stomping kick from
the Pearl Drum-X so there are solutions to be found.
