Subject: SDS-8 trig input voltages

Hi!
I'm planning to buy a midi-2-sds and is
discussing the details with modulus electronics
as we speak, but they've developed it for the
SDS-8 and I "only" have SDS-V and SDS-2.
The midi-2-sds delivers a maximum of 5 volts
which seems to work fine with the SDS-8, but
could any owner on this list (with a manual
maybe) let me know what it says about the trig
input range of the SDS-8.
The SDS-V accepts up to 1,5 on the pads and 15
on the sequencer ins, but to reach max you need
0,75 or 7. So if I hit it with 5 volts on the
pad inputs, may I destroy something? And if I
use the sequencer, will I miss getting the full
blast from the system including the rimshot
effect of the snare card?!
Many Q's, but if you have an SDS-8 manual,
please let me know!
electronically yours, jesper
