Archive of the former Yahoo!Groups mailing list: Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

I've got an older Simmons hexpad set (kick and all) setup on a Gibraltar stand connected to an Alesis DR4. It sounds great, but it appears that my "high tom" pad won't trigger if played simultaneously with other pads (at least not with the kick). I tried a bit of swapping things around (pads, cables) and adjust the trigger sensitivy in the DR4 to no avail. Is this a common problem?
