With the advent of samplers etc am I right in thinking that it is just nostalgia that is fuelling these ebay prices?
Take the sds7 - 3u high, 4 ton in weight and I have 6 retro drum samples. The point I'm getting at is the whole simmons library will probably fit into something the size of a mobile phone these days.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not being critical (perhaps a little cynical!), but the only bit I would now use is the pads and MTM.
