don't wanna be a jerk, are you sure it's the pad (did you plug it in another
input on the module??) Did you check the bassdruminput with another pad,
so it's not the channel??
Sorry but I know most drummers are better with their sticks then with a soldering
iron.
If it's the jacksocket, it should trigger sometimes when playing and wiggling
with the jack.
Perhaps the legs off the connector are a bit open so you have contact all
the time.

remember, construction edrumpads ain't no rocket science!
