Off topic - but I'm sure there was Simmons all over Berlin's stuff at that time - however "No More Words" was a Moroder production, with a Linndrum programmed by Arthur Barrow, with custom eproms burnt for the toms, sampled from a Simmons (not sure which model, probably SDSV). I know this because I've discussed it personally with Arthur Barrow, and also have had the sounds custom burnt for my own Linn courtesy of Forat Electronics in LA, who still have the Moroder/ Faltermeyer custom sounds in their library.
You can hear these Simmons toms, blown to Linndrum eproms, and Arthur Barrow guesting on bass and synth, on the song "1985 (GM '85 Remix)" on my band's Myspace page here:
