Archive of the former Yahoo!Groups mailing list: Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

I have just got hold of an original simmons flyer for a multimallet aimed at schools. It would appear that the multimallet was produced in at least 2 distinct styles. I have one that has 2 octaves and is formed of a single rubber sheet with the keys highlighted by a red surround. The flyer shows the same basic box with a black rubber sheet but supporting floating raised light blue keys. does anyone know if these were actually produced?
There isnt much info on these rare beasties around so any, info could be useful for future owners.
