If you open the case up, you'll find the "factory sound" is set by small trimpots that duplicate the front panel pots - twist those and you'll have your own, custom made "factory" presets!
NB use a non-metallic tool for safety.
According to the schematics, there's an unused resonance control input on the filter chip, too. I haven't investigated that further, but it is intriguing.

IIRC, there's a pin for each drum voice, and a ground. Hit the right pin with a +7V (?) pulse, and you trigger a voice - simple as that.
