Well, thanks for your input.

I don't think it's 'stupid' however. I like the way the Simmons pads
look and feel so it makes perfect sense for me to use them. I feel
completely opposite about Roland kits.

I also plan to have a simmons brain as well, but I think for
recording purposes; I'll be using the samples I've created.

I'm still interested in everyone else's views on my idea.
