Hi Chris

I was very fortunate - I responded to an ad here: http://www.preloved.co.uk/ regarding a different drum machine, and the guy said he had happened to have a simmons brain for sale too.

I rarely see good 'vintage' stuff in shops in central london.

http://www.musicmanreading.co.uk/equipment.htm#dm have some nice (well priced) stuff crop up from time to time, worth a look every now and again.
