Hi guys,

Yesterday I bought an SDS7, pads and an EPB from ebay. I was taking a bit of a chance because the seller listed it as "not working" and didn't specify what the problem was, so it could be with the pads or the brain. I'm hoping that he wasn't too clued up on things and that the repairs will be fairly simple and I will have got myself a bargain, which I've found with quite a lot of things on ebay that have been listed as spares and repair that were easily fixed.

If the problem is with the pads could anyone suggest what the common problems are and how I can fix them? Its my understanding that Simmons pads were fairly robust and built to last. If the problem is with the brain could anyone suggest what the common problems are there and possibly provide a schematic? Perhaps there is some literature regarding this on the internet? (This seems to be the place to ask!)

Sorry to be a bit vague here but I'd like a bit of prior knowledge on what the problem might be before I try and determine what the problem is and if I've bitten off more than I can chew!
