Subject: SDSV pad XLR help

From: "robsevers" <robsevers@...>

Hello, I recently managed to get my hands on an SDSV brain, but
without pads. I have aquired some sdsV pads but unfortunatly the XLR
connectors have been removed and replaced with 1/4" phono connector.
I have bought some XLR connectors and I have just opened up the pads
to attempt to restore the XLR connectors and I haven't a clue where
to start!

I have looked around the group and it mentions that XLR on SDS V is
wired in a non standard way. I am a complete electronics novice, can
anybody help me please?

There are 2 wires from the piezo to the phono connector, and ideally
i'd like to take feeds from the phono to the XLR if this is possible
so that both outputs can be used. Can this be done, and if so how
do you do it?(Remember you are talking to an electronics idiot)!

I play a yamaha dtxtemeIIs kit but find the electronic sounds just
don't compare to the simmons!

Thanks for your help.

Cheers

Rob
