Hehe =)
I agree completely Roland ,
i Can assure you my drums are not angled in a crazy degrees ,
Those long stroke rolls with simmons are just too addictive !
As you mentioned , The sdsv pads are indeed good for toms ,
The bassdrum doesn't feel all too good and as snare i use a real one anyway .
Can't remember the name of the person but i remember the set i bought was from someone in this group , superwolle ?
There is just something about the sds7 bassdrum i find great ,
sds7 in general to me , (and don't get me wrong all you sdsv fans ! )
speaks most as an 80's brain , Neil peart's work on powerwindows , Bill Bruford with king crimson's three of a perfect pair are my absolutely fav albums just to mention a few .
Had the great luck of finding one in south korea ! ,
I presume the cards were well damaged so was the backboard ,
But thanks to Michael Buchner , he managed to solve a huge list of problems !
It just arrived back today , ( so michael if ur reading this vielen dank!)
But yes Roland ,
I think the easiest thing to do is an exchange with someone who takes good care of their pads , state of the rubber is very important .
I don't have any pictures of the pads yet , i will make some asap .
Take Care Roland
