I painted some black SDS7 pads yellow and they came up really well.

I basically used car/auto paint with a primer. Not sure what country
you're in but the primer was Wattyl Sigma Etch Cream, as far as the
colour goes don't buy cheap stuff, ask for the best car enamel you can
get, it might cost a bit more but it'll be well worth it!

I did 4 pads and 1 can of primer and 1 can of colour enamel was all I
needed, you'll need to do at least 2 coats of the colour enamel to get
a perfect surface.
