Subject: Re: [Simmons Drums] sdsv cymbal

Hi All,
I have one of these cymbals in white and it is a SDS7 cymbal not a SDSV. I was at the Simmons website that I saw that someone had posted a brochure that has these cymbals in Five colors,Red,Yellow,Blue,Black and White. It looks like someone has painted this one too. All I can say is that this is the second one that I have seen so I have to say that it is real deal.

Haley, a member of this group sent me some photos a couple of weeks
ago as well as a part of a catalogue (can't verify it's authenticity) .
Even the former Simmons product manager has never seen this so I
assume it has never been built in series and/or sold in a namable
number. I can't exclude that this pad is real Simmons gear. However,
it's incredibly ugly ;-)
